Vera's Water Garden has become a hit with the children from the day it opened.
Every child likes to dangle their feet in water, run through water sprays and climb all over things.
The construction of Vera's Water Garden has kept this in mind and it has all those elements that children love.
Children spend countless hours playing and swimming and parents only have problems when they tell them it is time to leave. The Boathouse was built in 1927 to cater for the thousands of people wanting to take advantage of the beautiful Tuggerah Lake and to fish, prawn or just have fun in the sun. The baths were constructed between 1938 and 1965 and show how far ocean baths have come in the twentieth century. The Entrance Ocean Baths began as just a rock pool and are now an engineering masterpiece. Norah Head Lighthouse was built from 1901 to 1903. Perched on a headland, the lighthouse takes in magnificent ocean vistas and is the Central Coast's most spectacular icon. A walking track skirts around the side of the lighthouse and leads to stairs which climb down to the rock platform below and to Lighthouse Beach.
